It never gets easier.
February 10th, 2014
The trio of the Ashers and vampire ally Don Simon Ysidro travel to China to deal with the possible infestation of another supernatural menace to the world. This time murder, conspiracy, corruption and cultural issues plague the case. And lurking in the shadows of night are the Magistrates of Hell, possibly the oldest and most terrible vampires in the world. Once more James' skills as a former spy for the British Empire, Don Simon's vampiric abilities, and Lydia's intelligence, courage, and steely resolve are put to the test. If there is ever another story in this series, I will be all over it.

Gossamer threads pull you in and wrap you in sights, sounds and smells. You weave your way through a depth and in sight of characters and times, places and lifestyles till the whole leaves you breathless and wanting more. Pure Hambly at it's best...wonderful.
