Synopsis

When Cierra left the United States to move to London, she put the troubles with her ex behind her. Her position as a manager and the apartment in central London gave her the first sense of peace she'd known in a long time. Taking a self-defense class at the health club turned out to be just what the doctor ordered, because sexy martial artist and police officer Aiden Sakai was her instructor. Cierra couldn't believe it when this Asian hottie asked her out. With a new love and a new life, things couldn't get better--until Cierra's past came back to haunt her, not only putting her in danger but Aiden as well.

Love dont live here anymore

I did not like tine of this book, a lot of it did not make sense to me. Cece character was quite weak she lacks substance. Every time she speaks it makes me cringe. I find it hard to believe that she recovers so quickly emotionally form being brutally beaten and raped. Aidens character is ok could use some work. If I did not pay my money for this book I would not have finished it

For the love of all things holy, PLEASE do not buy this monstrosity loosely masquerading as a book! I usually don't write reviews, but I am taking it upon myself as a civic duty to keep this woman from absconding with people's hard earned money and ruining the interracial romance genre with the incoherent ramblings she believed was a great idea to commit to paper. Where to begin? The elementary level spelling mistakes? The hideous dialogue that refuses to differentiate what is spoken versus what should be inner thoughts? The annoying characters no one has a connection with nor cares about? The inane reiteration of "Love don't live here anymore"! by the lead character, as if we've forgotten the title? The driest, disconnected love scenes know to man? This is a treasure trove of detritus best left to a real garbage man, unlike the garbage truck hijacker in the actual story-sorry, spoiler alert! Want romance with an ACTUAL , well-written storyline? Try Angela Weaver, Theodora Taylor, Tiffany Ashley, Latrivia S. Nelson, Koko Brown, or J.J Murray to name a few. These writers employ editors(a must), and their writing actually respects the reader. I will manage the shame of having purchased this trash with the hope that this review will be read, peoples' minds and money saved, and that everyone experiences these other wonderful writers of interracial romances.
