Synopsis

Noah’s happier than I’ve seen him in months. So I’d be an awful brother to get in the way of that. It’s not like I have some relationship with Melinda. It was just a kiss. Am I going to ruin Noah’s happiness because of a kiss?

Across four sun-kissed, drama-drenched summers at his family’s beach house, Chase is falling in love, falling in lust, and trying to keep his life from falling apart.  But some girls are addictive....

Still not sure how to feel about this one
May 23rd, 2015
I wanted to love this book. Now, I wish I just could've liked it. It's one of those books where you just sit there after you read it and think "what!?" because really, what!? I have siblings, and the relationships between siblings in this book were just... awkward. And uncomfortable. The whole sleeping with the same girl thing... no. The promiscuous 12 yr old sister... no. I just felt like there was too much going on in this book, like the author tried to cram as many issues and taboos into one book. It just didn't work for me. And the death - NO. This was the one character I actually DID love. So even though I didn't love it, or really even like it, it made me feel a lot of strong emotions. Even years after reading it, I still just... I don't even know.
