Synopsis

This is Barney Smith’s second book. HUMOR IN LAW ENFORCEMENT [Factually Speaking] parallels his first book inasmuch as it humorously touches on people who had ties with, knowledge about, or experience with law enforcement. Additionally, this book deals with factual actions of former law enforcement officers, average citizens, not-so-average citizens, and the author. Also included are additional factual law enforcement–related¬¬ issues, and law enforcement–related jokes involving cops and citizens. Some citizens may be able to recognize themselves in one of the stories or situations but, in all probability, will not admit it. Some of the officers may also recognize themselves (or be recognized), but they surely will not brag about it or bring it to anyone’s attention. We will just have to let that information remain undocumented. Sorry, but it is what it is.
