Synopsis

Have you ever been inspired to create your own t-shirt design? or had an idea for a pithy one liner you'd like to see on a shirt? In this 1600 word article you will be guided through the steps needed to create a simple t-shirt design using the Open Source (read free!) Vector Graphics application Inkscape.

Once you have created your design you'll then be ready to upload it to one of the new generation of Print-On-Demand sites where you can order one, two or as many as you desire copies to be printed onto a t-shirt and then delivered to you ready to wear.. In this article I describe uploading to the CafePress site but the procedure is very similar for any of the other Print-On-Demand services out there and I'll provide some links to these later...
