Synopsis

"Happy families are all alike; every unhappy family is unhappy in its own way." Tolstoy begins "War and Peace" with families and families are at the center of all our lives. We either choose our family or our family chooses us. I have chosen and been chosen and the results are the same: some happiness, some grief, a lot of embarrassment, and a roller coaster ride every day.

"Heart Strings" is a collection of stories that have been published in various anthologies that paint a picture of my family in bright colors, often seen through the veil of tears, happy and sad.
