Awesomely fun!

It's whimsical and dark in some places, but it's mostly fun! All the familiar elements of a classic fantasy novel are here but all seen through the point of view of a lowly goblin, who is characterized not like the fodder for caricature we've all read in other stories but as a creator who is actually capable of deep thoughts. Best part for me was the brief but brilliant nod to Tolkien! I love it!

Really enjoyed the series.

This is book one in a trilogy, in which we see the "adventure" from the "monster's" point of view. Quite enjoyable, plays with classic adventures's standard stereotypes. Highly recommended.
