Dave Ramsey knows what it's like to have it all. By age twenty-six, he had established a four-million-dollar real estate portfolio, only to lose it by age thirty. He has since rebuilt his financial life and, through his workshops and his New York Times business bestsellers Financial Peace and More than Enough, he has helped hundreds of thousands of people to understand the forces behind their financial distress and how to set things right-financially, emotionally, and spiritually.

In this new edition of Financial Peace, Ramsey has updated his tactics and philosophy to show even more readers:

  • how to get out of debt and stay out
  • the KISS rule of investing—"Keep It Simple, Stupid"
  • how to use the principle of contentment to guide financial decision making
  • how the flow of money can revolutionize relationships

With practical and easy to follow methods and personal anecdotes, Financial Peace is the road map to personal control, financial security, a new, vital family dynamic, and lifetime peace.

Follows in from Total Money Makeover

Great book to follow on from TMMO. Keeps the flame burning and the passion there to beat debt and gives loads of good advice. Aimed at American markets but the principles are the same worldwide

A much-needed shot of common sense!
August 4th, 2013
The purpose of this book is not to reveal some shady money magic trick that may catapult you into wealth. It encourages you to take a shameless, even-handed look at your finances, lifestyle, and spending habits and reprioritize to make your money work for you. This book is largely a repeat of The Total Money Makeover, but has less emphasis on lifestyle and behavior changes that must occur, and more emphasis on family unity and the importance of bringing your spouse and children in on financial matters. Although both books cover both subjects, Financial Peace Revisited focuses more on "be happy;" tTMM focuses slightly more on "become wealthy." Both books will take you to both destinations. This book is probably the better one for the touchy-feely member of your marriage. Total Money Makeover speaks more to the numbers-oriented, down-to-business types. Singles are probably slightly better served by the latter book. In all, Dave's advice is outstanding. Taken word for word, his philosophy WILL lead you out of debt, quickly to financial security, and directly to wealth--in that order. Stop being a financial lemming and pick up one or both books today!
