Continues with a bang
November 13th, 2014
Donaldson once again lays on the suspense, only to rip it away with an explosive bang. Normally Donaldson waits until the end of the series to do the really big upheavals in the story, but with Fatal Revenant, Donaldson is turning that around, large scale changes happen frequently, and in just the right places.

Typical of S. R. Donaldson, Fatal Revenant is jam-packed full of action and does not let you relax for even half a page. At times you need to be in "the mood" to read it as it is so intense. He makes you feel you want to find something to like about Thomas Covenant, but as soon as you think you have Donaldson strips it to pieces so that your search starts all over again and thus keeps you going. Very well worth reading!
