Excellent read and a real insight into life in the SAS, the author does not embellish the amazing feats these guys get up to like a lot of other ex-forces guys do, their exploits need no talking up!

From his life outside the army to his life inside the SAS is very interesting read. From the loss of lives of the men he served with in Oman and the Falklands; to the Sargeants mess mtg whose minutes were signed by DLB and Stormin Norman and victories in Iraq just inspiring! Additionally, I am glad the also debunked the stories that are out there regarding that Gulf War in 1991. It's a bit slow at times but it does pick up the pace. Good read!
