Interesting short stories but nothing really gripping about them. His other novels are far better by a long shot.

I like Tony Parsons but this is not one of his better novels. I actually read it in an airport awaiting a flight and it helped to pass the time. It comprises of a series of short stories, so easily read and written with simplicity.
