Geat story..I love the way the author woven scripture threw out. Also a beautiful spiritual romance with a man, woman, and God, as it should be. A love story with depth.

It was an easy and enjoyable read. Once I started the book it was hard to put down. A person can take what they want out of the Scripture quotes or leave it alone The story line is good. The truth of the matter there are still double standards so what have we learned over the years? Much is just the same perhaps we have learned to hid it better

Perseverance equals blessings.

What a wonderful story woman who had to persevere so much sorrow in her life, a woman who had to face several trials much like we do today however it was a much less forgiving time then we live in today. The character Abigail gave more meaning to the verse of scripture from isaiah that says," weeping and suffering may endure for the night but joy comes in the morning." she she had many disappointments ok

I love the way God spoke into the lives of every one in this book. God's love shone through when every one took a look into their lives.

What a delightful read. Full of pathos, deep faith, and very real characters. I have laughed and cried but through it journeyed to Colorado from my recliner. For the price of a book I've drunk in the richness of another time and place.

This was a nice read but a little transparent. Needs to be longer with more character interaction!

I was surprised at the ending. I would not have expected Abby to show up at Sally's funeral as if to finally claim Connor for herself. She should have waited for him to recover from the loss & come to grips with all he'd learned then go to her with a renewed spirit.
