Synopsis

Now in paperback, the New York Times bestselling sequel to Hush, Hush!

Despite starting a relationship with Patch, her guardian angel (whose title is the only angelic thing about him), and surviving an attempt on her life, things are not looking good for Nora Grey. Aside from fearing her boyfriend is interested in her nemesis, Nora is haunted by images of her father and becomes obsessed with understanding his disappearance. As Nora delves into the mystery of her father’s death, she begins to wonder whether her Nephilim blood line has something to do with it. And since Patch isn’t answering her questions, Nora has to start finding the answers on her own. Relying too heavily on the fact that she has a guardian angel puts Nora at risk again and again. But can she really count on Patch—or is he hiding secrets darker than she can even imagine?

The paperback will feature an exclusive first look at the next book in the Hush, Hush saga, on sale Fall 2012!

Frustrating, But Entertaining
February 4th, 2015
I like Becca's writing voice so I'm pretty sure I'll finish the whole series. The character of Nora is frustrating (and so is the plot), but it's an entertaining read. I think I preferred Becca's book, Black Ice a bit better.

Still a good series.

Usually, I am a very quick reader. Finished the first book in 4 hours. This one took a week, it was very droning and very avoident of the main point. Yes, it cleared up quite a few issues that were left as loose ends, but still it took far to long to get to the point and seemed to forget quickly what happened in the past. It hindered to much on Patch and Her being broken up and not enough on answers, I understand the broken heart but it was quite annoying and repetitive after some time. I am anxious to get into the next book, though I have to wait till after work.

No words to explain

There are honestly no words to explain how awesome this book is, the author really makes you feel the emotions in the book, i found myself getting angry, happy, laughing, falling in love with patch myself with nora! I would seriously recommend this book, and if you are thinking about not reading it, change your mind, you might be surprised.
