Synopsis

In an age where birth has often been overtaken by obstetrics, Dr Dick-Read's philosophy is still as fresh and relevant as it was when he originally wrote this book. He unpicks every possible root cause of western woman's fear and anxiety in pregnancy, childbirth and breastfeeding and does so with overwhelming heart and empathy. Essential reading for all parents-to-be, childbirth educators, midwives and obstetricians!

With a foreword by Michel Odent.

"A brilliant, courageous classic that is still relevant today." Ina May Gaskin - author of Ina May's Guide to Childbirth

CHILDBIRTH WITHOUT FEAR

Although this book is old it is still very much relevant! For anyone looking to learn about labor and how there does not have to be pain involved this is an awesome read. And for me who has had 6 children naturally I can say for certain, childbirth without fear is childbirth without pain!
