Synopsis

Carnal Kingdoms: Short Stories

In the world of Amor, seven kingdoms rule over land with an iron fist. Each realm is divided, with none able to trust or coexist with the other. Fear and panic has spread across the continent as the frightening creatures from the wild lands close in from every conceivable direction. The time has come for each faction to stand against the hordes and unite the world under a single banner. In the carnal kingdoms, sex doesn’t just sell; it rules.

Amazonian Princess:

The Amazon is one of the most beautiful and tranquil lands in all of Amor. Every citizen knows peace, rights and freedoms— if you’re a woman that is. The Amazon has been untainted by the rule of man for over a thousand years, and hopes to keep it that way.

On the eve of her twentieth birthday, the Amazonian princess, Adra, is sent out on her own. Like every Amazonian woman in the realm, she leaves for the rite of Janus, where she will endure the hardships required to harden her into the fierce female warrior that her people are known for.

Her trial is to survive for a full cycle outside the lands that protect their people. Only things don’t go as planned. She runs into a barbarian hunting party that will stop at nothing to obtain her, dead or alive. Alone and outnumbered, she must find a way to escape her captors before they catch their newest and most valuable possession.

Princess Adra's only hope is to trust in a hunter named Richter, a rugged and mysterious man that she reluctantly befriends. Together, they must find a way through the darkness that has befallen the land… before it consumes them both.

Good story but too short. Well written and thought out. Could have developed into a superb book and potential for a movie.
