Synopsis

THE SEQUEL MILLIONS OF READERS HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR . . .

At last, mega-bestselling author Sister Souljah delivers the stunning sequel to The Coldest Winter Ever. Fierce, raw, and filled with adventure and emotional intensity, A Deeper Love Inside is an unforgettable coming-of-age story in the words of Porsche Santiaga, Winter’s younger sister.

Sharp-tongued, quick-witted Porsche worships her sister Winter. Cut from the same cloth as her father, Ricky Santiaga, Porsche is also a natural-born hustler. Passionate and loyal to the extreme, she refuses to accept her new life in group homes, foster care, and juvenile detention after her family is torn apart. Porsche—unique, young, and beautiful—cries as much as she fights and uses whatever she has to reclaim her status. Unselfish, she pushes to get back everything that ever belonged to her wealthy, loving family.

In A Deeper Love Inside, readers will encounter their favorite characters from The Coldest Winter Ever, including Winter and Midnight. Sister Souljah’s soulful writing will again move your heart and open your eyes to a shocking reality.

Porsche, Siri, Ivory.
January 24th, 2014
I thought her story would be like Winters who I thought I liked. But I fell in love with Porsche, Siri, and Ivory. She made me laugh, cry, and want to reach out to her. I love her story more than Winters, and I felt she was a canvas you couldn't just paint anything on, it had to be the right artwork in order for her to keep it. Inspiring lil grown woman.

Even though the book took forever to get to a higher point then felt a little rushed towards the end, it was worth the reading.

Kudos!

WwowW! I fell in love with the Santiaga family in the Coldest Winter Ever. I understand why the book is titled as such. It hurts. Ricky is still honorable and respected; Midnight is a man in every definition of the word; I always knew Porsche was sharp. She watched, observed, and learned from other people's action and inaction; that propelled her determination and success. It pains me that her mother was taken from her years before she departed. To be left alone, although not completely because of Mr. Sharp and Santiaga, she earned her way her own ways. I hope this is not the end. I feel that there are more stories to tell.

Chilling story!!
February 11th, 2013
At first, da invisible friend was really annoying...but I understand Porsche has been through soo much at a young age, it was traumatic!!! I liked her sister Winter in The Coldest Winter Ever but I didn't like Winter in this story; she's still stuck in the past but of course she had a tumultuous life as well. She's gonna be so disappointed about Midnight lol...whose real name I just found out about!! Maybe there will be more on the stories of the Diamond Needles in books to come...they were pretty interesting; Overall this was a great book!
