Synopsis

If you haven't yet used polymer clay as an artistic sculpting medium, I suggest you try them. Unlike ceramic, you don't need to worry about keeping them moist while you are sculpting or that it will explode while being baked. Polymer clays remain firm but pliable for years if stored in a cool, dark place, and you don't even need a kiln to set them- just 20 minutes in a regular home oven does the trick! After baking, they can be sanded, painted, or have things glued onto them.
