Synopsis

There are 100’s of versions of the Bible. This study compares only 50 versions of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

Why are there so many versions? 1) There are 1,000’s of copies of Bible manuscripts, some of which have unauthorized changes made by the copyists. The translators can not agree on which copies to use. 2) The translators use different kinds of English, such as: Amplified. Contemporary. Expanded. Inspirational. Literal. Majestic, Plowboy & Unvarnished English. And none of these versions agree with other similar versions: some are Conservative, others Liberal or Radical.
