Edgar Allan Poe is undoubtedly the only classic I didn't mind writng homework about. He has a very unique style and it's easy to get sucked into his stories. Though a little difficult to read at times, he is guaranteed to elicit a reaction from anyone!

There isn't doubt that Edgar Allan Poe is one of the greatest authors to have walked the earth - with that being said, I couldn't get into this. I found it to complex

Poetry of Poe
September 15th, 2013
While this book contains a few crowd pleasers, it is more of academic interest. It introduced me to a few works of his of which I was not familiar but left out many favourites. Begins with a few short stories but the focus is mostly poetry with extensive notes/annotations.

So much the same, even through time.

His writing is still true to this day. Though I am sure if it were worded in modern terms that might make more sense. This was something I started reading as a child and now I finally get a chance to finish it. I love picturing myself in the stories, the clothes, lack of modern necessities and niceties.

Nothing you have heard of

There are none of the stories Poe is known for here. To call this Works of Poe is accurate and misleading. It sets a very low standard for Kobo. How else will they deceive us?
