The Heart of the Racetrack
by T.A. Landers
Far from “just another book on how to wager and win at the races”, this insightful text provides an in-depth glimpse into the sport of horseracing, with a special focus on the often-overlooked area at the racetrack: the paddock area. “The Paddock” brings the reader up-close to the horses for a better understanding and appreciation of the beauty of the racehorse as well as the allure and excitement of a day spent at the racetrack.
One can also learn to make several vital observations within the paddock that will aid in making an intelligent wager.
"The Paddock" is intended to educate the public in understanding the role of the paddock at any racetrack on any given day and is for anyone who has ever been interested in horses and horseracing. Containing a wealth of interesting and valuable information and more than 80 beautiful photographs, “The Paddock” allows seasoned racing fans to appreciate the sport on a higher level.
