Synopsis

Greg Valdez operates just the other side of the line, as a thief for private collectors. He's known as the best in the business. You name it, he's stolen it-from jewels to fine art. Now his mission takes him to an ancient monastery in Portugal, to steal a priceless artifact that he doesn't realize contains the true burial Shroud of Jesus. But the shroud becomes the ransom for his loved ones and centuries-old oaths and traditions come into play as modern day Templar Knights launch an international search for the thief and the Shroud.

    Solomons Men by Glenn Starkey

This is the first book by Glenn Starkey that I have read. I found it to be very well written in a manner that paints a picture for the reader. His descriptive style of writing has the reader looking forward to new twists in the plot. I especially found the ending of this story heartwarming, especially after all of the twists and turns in the main of the story. I would recommend this book to anyone who has an interest in history, albeit with embellishments, to cosy up to this book on a cold winter's night.
