Shooting Star by Peter Temple
February 22nd, 2014
This was my final Peter Temple book after reading them all. I love his flawed characters, the identifiable Australian / Melbourne land and streetscapes and the reality that things don't always end well. His stories become more complex throught the book, as is certainly the case here, and he makes you realise that you never really know what people can be capable of or what they might be hiding. He doesn't make it easy for you and you have to think and put things together youself. Again, a great story that I will have to read again!
