Three members of a Montreal family of Afghan descent are convicted in January 2012 of first-degree murder in the so-called "honour killing" drowning deaths of four members of their family -- three teenage girls and an adult woman -- in June 2009 at the Kingston Mills locks on the Rideau Canal near Kingston, Ont.
