Another home run!
June 7th, 2015
Sarah and Sax are the main characters in this book. They have troubles throughout the book, but are able to focus on other things, such as the people they meet, the moving involved with their nomadic lifestyle, and their job as professional sand sculptors. Sarah has a hard time adjusting to people, meeting them and handling new situations. Her father, Sax, is flighty and a free-spirit. The characters are all going through their own difficulties as the book continues. One of my favorite things in a book is the character's point of view from each main character. The author changes the point of view in each chapter, so you get to understand what is going on in the mind of Sax, Sarah, and other characters. I highly recommend this book and any other books by Alan Clay!

Language has not the power to speak what love indites: The Soul lies buried in the ink that writes. ~John Clare Sax wants to ensure his daughter Sarah lives a carefree life. He takes her on magical adventures building sand castles on the Bondi beach. This special time among father and daughter creates memorable Hallmark moments neither one will be able to forget. Their peaceful day is interrupted when they are whisked away to build a sandcastle in New Zealand. Together their life is an endless means of fun filled escapade. Zoe enters into Sarah and Sax’s life. Sarah recognizes that she has an interest in her father. Sarah seeks out her fairy Firefly, but she is nowhere to be found. She questions where she will fit in with this new person coming into their life. As the trio works toward finding their way in each other lives will love consume them in their loving arms? A kaleidoscope of love, acceptance, and adventure can be found throughout the pages of BELIEVERS IN LOVE. I was totally enchanted by the words contained in this wonderful story. I found it provides a roller coaster ride of make believe fun. What sets this book apart from similar titles is that it provides a deep philosopher look into the minds of a several mesmerizing characters. Each one is quick to grab hold of your heart and takes you on a wonderful journey of discovery. Books such as this are a rarity, for they leave you with a sense of wonderment as the last page is turned.

I highly recommend it as your next book!

“Believers in Love” deserves five stars! After reading Alan Clay’s “Dance Sisters” and thoroughly enjoying it, I picked up another book by this author. It’s difficult for me to say which one is my favorite so far; they both deserve your attention. All of the characters are fully developed, description of events is so full and vivid that the story inevitably pulls you in. Furthermore, this book is appropriate for all ages and a very wide audience. It’s also very easy to relate to what the main characters are going through, I’m sure a lot of readers might even see themselves in certain situations.

Beautiful Tale!
May 16th, 2015
I've read Alan Clay's wonderful work before and this novel is even better. We follow a father and daughter team who use their personal gifts to make them better as people and as artistic individuals. We travel as their beloved companions to different festivals taking place in New Zealand and Australia. I could not put this book down! I learned that with family, you can achieve greater heights but personal growth comes from your own journey. However, having humor and wit mixed into the story leaves you smiling and your heart growing a little bigger. Fantastic novel!

A touching and fun story
May 6th, 2015
After reading “Angels Can Fly” by Mr. Clay I was pretty sure I’d like another of his books, and I was not disappointed. This sweet story brings to life several diverse characters, each with their insecurities, hopes and dreams. Each chapter is told from the different character’s perspectives, which is my favorite way of storytelling as it really adds depth to their stories/personalities. I felt a kindred spirit in Zoe, a protective love for Sarah, a real connection with Sax, and empathy for Adam. As I got to know these four I could not tear my eyes away and found myself fully immersed in this book for several hours. Each descriptive scene pulled me forward and I couldn’t wait to see what would happen next. Very poignant and quite introspective at times I’d highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good character-driven story. Somehow this was both deep and light-hearted.
