Once the Government and The Chief of police see they have a genius on their hands he is heading for the top.
He is posted from his Police station after a successful drugs arrests to anti-police corruption division, a potential graveyard of police people. If you arrest a corrupt Police person then his bosses in management will not employ you as you have shown them to be corrupt too for letting the person be corrupt under their command.
His multi-millionaire mentor trains him to pilot the executive aircraft and they often go to the opera at La Scala Milan Italy. He also starts to take over each year via a Swiss bank account successive percentages of his mentor's business empire.
Then he is promoted and posted into the anti-terrorism division and Northern Ireland and the Eire-IRA start to bomb and murder Brits with the New York and Boston terrorists financiers many of them Police and Fire service people, funding the murder of 3700 Brits; as their support for a united Ireland.
His team kill many Eire-IRA terrorists in N Ireland and Eire and they want to go to New York and Boston and wipe out the funders of terrorism; but the British Prime Minister lacks the cajones to give them Armageddon in their own back yard.
He is then given a Knighthood and called Sir Greg and he is posted to The FBI for three years to learn all the latest in Forensics Sciences and to learn of America's crime problems.
Then after three years back to Britain and to become a Regional Police Chief where he earns a second bravery medal; on top of his earlier bravery medal that got his career going to university; after being shot and nearly killed.
He is told that one day he will be The Chief of All Police.
