A Collection of Japanese Short Stories: Volume 1
This volume contains ten short stories from four Classical Japanese authors. All of the included stories were published in the early 20th Century and were written by celebrated Japanese authors -- many of the stories have never been translated to English. The topics of the stories vary, but some of the themes include: love, the occult, Communism, Christianity, and sacrifice. Each story possesses a distinctly Japanese style, and each story is simply unforgettable.
Please note that this volume contains "The Hole and Other Stories," "The Secret of the Fish and Other Stories," "Traveling Alone," and "Rebellion" which are all available separately on the store. Approximately 21300 words.
