Synopsis

The New York Times best selling author Nashoda Rose is back with the much anticipated story of Kai and London in the Unyielding series.

Kai

There is nothing I care about.
No attachments.
No connections.
Outwardly, I’m a perfect gentleman
until my target sees my knife.

I fear nothing, not even death.
In my world, death is considered a privilege.
But my life comes with unbreakable cruel strings and
when I met her, I should’ve walked away.
I didn’t.
I was too selfish.
And that sealed her fate.
Because one week with me led her into the hands of ruin.

London
We all have unique layers that make up who we are.
What makes us vulnerable or strong.
What we fear and what excites us.
But peel back those layers and you’re left naked and exposed.
They did that to me.
Each piece was slowly stripped away then burned.
I merely existed.
But there was one layer they overlooked.
The most important of them all—the tie to one man.
The man responsible for me being this way.
The man who found me.
And the killer who would do anything to protect me.

    good continuation

4.5stars I had really high acceptation about this book. It was great but doesn’t come near to the first book. I loved London and Kai. We see kai in complete other light and we can understand him more and his actions. We see his softer gentler side that he shows only to his great love London. London interesting character she is weak but not weak, strong stubborn, scared in love. There is not so much dialog in the story just action, thoughts. I like how we see the Vault falls down. It is awesome to see Georgie and Deck again. Kai and London go through hell until they can finally enjoy their love. Intense story with sexy tattooed alpha male and quiet scientist. *ARC provided by Netgalley in exchange for an honest review

    Wow!

Let me just start off with saying how amazingly mind blowind this story is!!! There were times when I thought 'Just what the hell am I reading?', and there were times when I thought Nashoda Rose is a freaking genius, which btw. I'm still thinking. This book made me feel so many emotions. I was happy, got my hopes crushed, then became angry and near the end left completely heartbroken. But you have to get through the bad, to get to the good. Or in this case the really good stuff. ;) I love reading Nashoda Rose's books because they always seem to have this dark vibe around them. You also always get an emotional and inspiring story, at least in my opinion. Her characters go through so much bad and it hurts your heart to read about what happens to them but at the end of the day, they come out as winners and with an incredible inner strength. So, it's no surprise that the characters of this book follow the same pattern. I loved Kai. He's by far one of my favourite characters. He's this dark, mysterious, dangerous, hot looking guy that you certainly don't wish to cross, ever. But after seeing and meeting London, you really got to see his other, more caring and definitely protective side. His past is horrific and I was so glad London helped him overcome some of his demons. What touched me the most is that he never gave up on his woman, helped her heal and showed her just how much she meant to him. As for London, that poor girl. She's been so much and after years of torture, she's only a ghost of the once brilliant young woman, who was full of life. The worst part for me is that she didn't do anything wrong but bad things constantly kept happening to her. She was a normal, bright scientist, who simply wanted to life her normal life. Thankfully, Kai always kept his tabs on her and brought her back to life. They were trully made for each other. They loved and protected each other fiercely. Perfect Ruin is a wonderful, emotional read with lots of action, secrets and love. I highly recomend!

I loved everything about this story

I loved everything about this story and am extremely anxious to read Connor’s story next!! While it starts where Perfect Chaos left off, we also spend about 50% of the story living Kai and London’s story. We get to see how they meet and the background of their entire relationship. Then we jump right back into present day and continue on with the story. I love how this was written. There’s just enough to keep you fully informed and involved in the story without completely re-telling Perfect Chaos. Since he was a young child, Kai has been molded into a stone cold killer. He avoids any type of attachment or emotion. He was brutally trained to be that way. He’s intense, lethal and he has his own presence…when he enters a room, he becomes the room. Then he sees London Westbrook and as much as he tries to fight it, he becomes obsessed with everything about her. London Westbrook is a scientist who is following in her father’s footsteps. She spends all of her time either studying or helping out in the lab. London cares about everyone and always sees the good in people. She labels herself as a geek but she has backbone and won’t let anyone take advantage of her. Most of all, she’s a survivor. And that’s going to be her most important trait as she spends several years doing just that, surviving. Through it all, Kai never gives up and as he promised her, he will always come for her. She’s made him see what it’s like to care and to be cared about. To have friends and to trust and rely on others. “I’d never had anyone give a shit if I came back from an assignment. If I lived or died. London gave that to me. London made me feel alive.” For a lethal killer, this man will make you swoon like no other! ARC provided via Netgalley for honest review.
