Synopsis

Eric, a seven-year-old boy, falls in love with the game of golf. He has no money, so his passion propels him to make his own clubs out of tin cans and broomsticks.

ME AND MY CLUBS is a captivating story that inspires children to be creative while learning to take initiative.

As a child, Eric was the neighborhood inventor. On any given day you could find all the kids on his block at his house to see what new gadgets he'd come up with.
After college and the army, Eric R. Schewikert started manufacturing die-cast parts for ‘55, ‘56 and ‘57 Thunderbirds. This led to his company offering restored classic cars to the public. In later years, he took an interest in solar hot water and photovoltaics and developed a solar pasteurization system. Totally operated by the sun, the system can purify water anywhere in the world.
Schewikert has several other operations that he oversees, including an operation in Liberia, Costa Rica, where a plant called Jatropha Curcas grows, the seed of which can be used to produce bio-fuel for commercial airliners. The industry’s goal is to be flying 100% on alternative fuel by 2020, and his operation will be the largest in Costa Rica. The company is also developing their waterfront property in Costa Rica to include a cruise ship terminal, golf courses, a wellness center and retreat, a 5 star hotel, a theme village, and executive home sites.
When he isn't taking care of business, Eric enjoys writing poems, makes unique greeting cards for special people in his life, and whenever he gets the chance, he plays golf.
