Releasing Kate is book two in The Acceptance Series. Breaking Kate book one and Catching Kate book 1.5 should be read prior to reading Releasing Kate.

Kate has been through more than her fair share of tragedies in her life. After suffering the loss of her mother, daughter, and the love of her life, she’s finally found the strength to open herself up to love again. For once, everything is finally as it should be. Kate should’ve known that things were too good to be true; her life doesn’t work that smoothly.

It’s been four years since Michael left Kate, but he’s back now, and determined to win Kate’s heart once again. After discovering that Daniel and Michael are best friends, the situation spirals out of control quickly. Instead of dealing with her broken heart, Kate ignores it.

When Kate’s actions drive her to do the unthinkable, she knows she’s crossed the line. Unfortunately, she doesn’t realize it until it’s too little, too late. Her actions have consequences and now she’s trying to fix the unfixable. Can the men in Kate’s life grant her the forgiveness she can’t even find within herself?

FLOVE this series and everything about it.

If you have not read Breaking Kate, please do not read this review as it may contain spoilers. This is an amazing series, I wouldn't want to spoil it for anyone. The love triangle continues between Kate, Mike and Daniel. Boy does this book continue to rip your heart to shreds. Kate tells both Daniel and Mike that she will not choose between them after the news of Vanessa. Who is the baby daddy for Vanessa's baby? I honestly couldn't decide which of the men I wanted it to be throughout the entire book. I just loved Daniel so much but then I also loved Mike just as much. Mike deserved to get his girl back after all the heartache he's been through, not to mention the loss of the child he never knew about. But then Daniel is just so HOT,charming and WOW is he an alpha male! I wish Kate could have somehow had both men but that's just not realistic. I was #TEAMMIKE all the way going into Releasing Kate, have I changed my mind to #TEAMDANIEL or have I stuck with #TEAMMIKE? There's just one way to find out, you have got to read this book! Kate makes some mistakes that I just can't mention here, but holy moly will it be a game changer that throws everyone into a tailspin! I can't recommend this entire series enough! Absolutely LOVED the heck out of it and I actually did need to join the Facebook Support group after finishing it because I was just so gutted and torn apart. Now the ending isn't happy like we all wish it could be, but I have hope that the final book in this series will have a HEA for all of us Kate, Daniel and Mike junkies. Do I even need to say it? 5 heart crushing stars is just about all I can say. Oh and get your tissues ready because you will be balling those pretty little eyes out ladies!!!

I still can't put into words what this book had done to my heart. Thank you D Kelly for allowing me to read this book. You took me on such an emotional roller coaster that 5 hours later, I still can't get it out of my head. I can't open a new book and don't know when I'll be able to either. What you put my team through is heart wrenching and I hope you can redeem yourself in Loving Kate(LOL).

Simply Amazing
February 7th, 2015
I'm going to try to keep this spoiler free but this review is really for the 3 titles in the series to date. Dee did an amazing job when she wrote this story. I actually managed to read Breaking Kate, Catching Kate, and Releasing Kate in the span of 48 hours. It drew me in from the beginning and if time and life had allowed I would have read all 3 in one day. This series is mind-blowing and heart-wrenching. I absolutely love Kate and from the beginning I was #TeamDaniel. Normally I don't do love triangles because I tend to find the flip-flopping between emotions to be unrealistic and just irritating. This was not the case in this series. I honestly felt as if I was a part of this family of friends and witnessing it all first hand. They all became a part of me in such a short time. One thing that totally caught me off guard was Marc.. I totally didn't expect to see that, nor did I ever imagine the reason Mike disliked him so much would be what it was. This story will keep you guessing, especially Releasing Kate. The flow of POV with the chapters is perfect and I was easily able to follow the timeline without wondering what in the world was doing on. There were points where I was questioning my conclusions and then the ending came and I was shocked! Looking forward to March when I can read the conclusion with Loving Kate. Truly wish I could give more than 5 stars because it was simply that amazing.

#TeamDaniel and #TeamKate all the way
January 11th, 2015
I have been #TeamDaniel all the way, but after I read this book I really didn't not know what team I wanted to be on #Team Daniel or #TeamKate. With a baby on the way Kate is so confused but deep down she knows who she wants and she can't have him until she knows who the father is. She is so torn on doing the right thing, but the heart wants what it wants. She has done something that nobody ever thought she would do and in the end it hurt everybody around her. What will happen when they find out who the father is, will Kate be able to leave her guard down or will she run the other way? Now we have to wait for the next installment to find out what happens...D. Kelly this book is your best book yet.
