Disappointed
July 15th, 2014
I have been reading Discworld for the past 15 years. This book is the worst of all Discworld stories. Why is it bad? It lacks the spirit of the first books. Those were satirical of existing fantasy genre. They were thoughtful and witty with clever puns on just about anything. This book (and the previous Lipwig story) feels educational. The satirical value is severely reduced. It is no longer fun to read and downright bothersome.
