A worthy entry in the Reckoners Series
September 22nd, 2015
Sanderson has a story line that speaks to me, a long time comic book fan, in the Reckoners Series. The lead character is not an all powerful super. As a matter of fact, he is a pretty much normal human, who, because he cares, is trying to kill all the powered people in his world. They abuse their powers, and the non powered. Mitosis moves the story forward, but you should read Steelheart first. Worth the price!!!

Filled the void...

Satisfied a Steelheart craving, but the ending was too quick... A little weak. Loved the Epic though.

A quick read
February 8th, 2014
Set after the events of Steelheart, Mitosis tells the story of a new Epic who threatens the city of Newcago. Although it is an entertaining read, it is also very short and really only serves to whet your appetite for the next full full entry in the series. It leaves you wanting more.

"Short" in short story
February 4th, 2014
I do like it but its a shorter version of the first novel, it sets up some cool plot points that I hope he's putting in the second book but it just a small taste of what's coming (which I guess is the point and such but that just makes me angry about the next book not being out now)

Mitosis: A Reconers Story

This is a great follow-up story to Steelheart. Just because a battle has been won doesn't mean that the war for freedom is over.

Not bad. A good story to tie the two stories together. Well done.
