Synopsis

Not so very long ago, Eragon—Shadeslayer, Dragon Rider—was nothing more than a poor farm boy, and his dragon, Saphira, only a blue stone in the forest. Now the fate of an entire civilization rests on their shoulders.

Long months of training and battle have brought victories and hope, but they have also brought heartbreaking loss. And still, the real battle lies ahead: they must confront Galbatorix. When they do, they will have to be strong enough to defeat him. And if they cannot, no one can. There will be no second chances.

The Rider and his dragon have come further than anyone dared to hope. But can they topple the evil king and restore justice to Alagaësia? And if so, at what cost?

This is the much-anticipated, astonishing conclusion to the worldwide bestselling Inheritance cycle.

This book and series in general was a very good read. I enjoyed every moment of it. The twist turns it took and everything it revealed was great. Would love to see more on sapphire and her rider eragon. A continuance would be great read.

Less plagarism in this book. It also goes more in depth about the magic system. Which is my favorite part of the book.

Storytelling ga Lore
September 26th, 2014
I love the storytelling in this series. The lore is phenomenal. But #1 is the magic system. A logical set of rules for magic is important, and this series definitely has the best type of magic of any I've ever read.

I'm honestly just happy that this series of books is finally over with. After waiting for so long for the third book to come out and then another Long wait of years for this book I had the feeling of putting to rest a portion of my childhood with finishing this book and the stories within.
