Don’t miss the exciting preview of Lee Child’s highly anticipated Jack Reacher novel, Never Go Back!

July 1977. Jack Reacher is almost seventeen, and he stops in New York City on the way to visit his brother at West Point. The summer heat is suffocating, the city is bankrupt, and the mad gunman known as Son of Sam is still on the loose. Reacher meets a woman with a problem, and agrees to help her . . . but then the power grid fails and the lights go out, plunging the lawless city into chaos. What does a visiting teenager do in the dark? If that visiting teenager is Jack Reacher, the answer is plenty.

Reacher at 16 is as mean and nasty as he is in the thirties . The poor fbi lady didn't get a chance to live her life and enjoy her return to duty . Would have liked to have known what reacher did after seeing his brother and where he went after . I GUESS ITS ANOTHER BOOK I HAVENT GOT AHOLD OF YET, KEEP WRITING Mr Child.

This is a great little story of a young Jack Reached in his first adult adventure. The characters are well written, which can be hard to do in a short story, and the action fitting. Set it in one of the most well known blackouts in North America in you have yourself a good read for a warm summer afternoon.

Jack seemed a little to mature for a 17 year old, but it was a fun story.

This is an excellent read. I have read many books by Lee Child and can safely say Jack Reacher is by far the best most complex main character. Look forward to more books and more adventures from Jack Reacher.

High Heat :A Jack Reacher Novella
November 18th, 2013
What is this, his third? Gifts for his ebook fans. Fodder for the newcomer. Either club, you're sucked in. Got to know more. NOW! Don't worry, Lee Child always leaves instructions on which way to go to follow this nomad's path. Jack IS a loner. Who never gets left alone. And the company he keeps is usually six degrees from normal. At least. He has skills that at his age, should be a memory, but they get used far too often for his liking. They're familiar, like "Not again". And he plows through his competition effortlessly. He said it himself, always as a warning. "I know all the moves, invented many of them". A gentleman, always, yes, always giving them the opportunity to walk away. They rarely do. And they will always remember Jack. Read his book. You won't forget him, either. Translated world wide, recipient of numerous awards, made into major films, Jack is well worth knowing.
