    An amazing and heartbreaking story

I love Aurora Rose Reynolds with her bad biker boys and incredible love stories. But this new book is completely different from everything I've read by her so far. It is a story of a love of a lifetime and a huge heartbreak. The writing is superb as ever and the characters are so captivating and real. The book had every ingredient to be amazing: a dominant and alpha male whose heart belongs to the woman he met when he was a teenager, a broken heroine whose heart belongs to only one man but a tragic accident shattered her life, and fifteen years later they have the chance to correct the mistakes from their youth. Austin Wolf is one sexy as hell alpha that will make you salivate with his shaggy blonde hair and mesmerizing blue eyes. And he is also a broken man. His heart was broken once, fifteen years ago, and can be healed only by the woman who broke it in the first place. The interactions between Austin and Lea span from angry and hurtful to fun and comedic, from cold and frustrating to hot and breathless. They fit each other like two pieces of a puzzle, but someone stayed in their way to being together years ago and now they have to learn how to heal and fight for the love of a lifetime. And let me tell you, that does results in some incredibly hot scenes. Lea is quite an interesting character. Her life is spun out of control when she loses her father in a tragic fishing accident. Not knowing how to fight the hurt and the frightening feelings in her heart she runs. For fifteen years she looks for something to fulfill the gaping whole in her but then her life is spun out of control again when she has to return to her hometown once again. That's when she starts healing but she also has to face her greatest fears again. Together with Austin, they fight for the love they lost all those years ago. I have to say that I really cried while reading this story. I've experienced similar heartache as the one Lea goes through with her mother once she returns to her hometown and I know it is something that can nearly destroy you, it is one of the most awful and painful things a person can ever experience. I don't know how, but Aurora Rose Reynolds managed to relay all those feelings to the pages. It is painful and heartbreaking to read but that only shows how masterful she is in relaying feelings and experiences with her words. In a few words, this is an amazing book, probably one of the most heartbreaking books I've read recently. The characters are entertaining and intriguing and the story is simply incredible. I am already a fan but I know that if I haven't been, this book would've made me a fan for life. So yes, I definitely recommend it and I think you should #oneclick it right now :) This review was originally posted at Living In Our Own Story Book Blog. I received an ARC of the book in exchange of an honest review.
