Synopsis

Daunted by the singular sexual tastes and dark secrets of the beautiful, tormented young entrepreneur Christian Grey, Anastasia Steele has broken off their relationship to start a new career with a Seattle publishing house.
But desire for Christian still dominates her every waking thought, and when he proposes a new arrangement, Anastasia  cannot resist. They rekindle their  searing sensual affair, and Anastasia learns more about the harrowing past of her damaged, driven, and demanding Fifty Shades. While Christian wrestles with his inner demons, Anastasia must confront her anger and envy of the women who came before her and make the most important decision of her life.
Erotic, sparkling and  suspenseful, Fifty Shades Darker is the irresistibly addictive second part of the Fifty Shades trilogy.

I enjoyed the book. It had just enough twists to keep me interested. It also gave me a good chuckle as did the first book.

The story continues to get more in depth, Ana and Christian's love story starts to unfold on a more emotional state. Ana gets stronger, and we see a more vulnerable Christian... excellent read

Fifty shades

Forget the sex the characters are worth knowing. To read this and not be aware of the debth of their pain and vulnerability is to lost to the beauty of the author.

Good book. The first book was good, this book is even better. Can't wait to read the third book. Read the books before seeing the movie. That is important.

Loved it!
March 6th, 2015
As always, absolutely loved Ana's and Christian's love story... it's not just about the steamy love scenes. I find that this is a true love story, though maybe in the traditional sense.

Entertaining
March 4th, 2015
No, not the best written book. It's a bit repetitive. But I couldn't put it down. Yes, the sex is hot, but more than that, the story had me captivated. I wanted to know why Christian was so screwed up. Guilty pleasure. Worth the time.

True Romance
March 2nd, 2015
I must say that this novel is very much about the romance with the sex scenes merely being an added bonus. It brings a new illustration to true love.

Entertaining but...
February 8th, 2015
The repetitive use of words clearly looked up in a thesaurus once irritates me. The characters lack a certain depth but I still find myself intrigued by the plot.

Fifty Shades of Crap
January 25th, 2015
Had these not been a gift, they would have gone in the fireplace. Pure and simple, these books are for pathetic, lonely women with an IQ of 50. It is mind boggling that these are popular.

There's Better However

...These books are addicting. I only wish they were written much better. I almost didn't continue and keep reading on multiple occasions due to the less than admirable story.

Steamy

Steamy book. A great read. Numerous grammar errors throughout the book. It doesn't take away from the fact it's still a good series. Will read again. 3rd times a charm.
