Synopsis

From the bestselling author of WORLD OF SHELL AND BONE comes a love story set in a town where nothing is ever as it seems...

Eden, North Carolina--my hometown and personal hell on earth.

After I left for college, I vowed I'd never see it again. Too much had happened there, and my wounds were still raw. When I found myself headed back four years later, I was adamant nothing would keep me there for long.

Then I met the intoxicating Dax Allard. Copper-colored eyes, skin that emanated an exceptional heat, and a host of strange talents... It wasn't long before I was drunk on him.

But Dax's past was darker than mine, teeming with ancient secrets. Falling for him could cost me my life.

I had two choices: walk away or deal with the perilous consequences.

It was no choice at all.

Attraction

Interesting story about hot attraction, love, protection and supernatural forces, but leaves you with a little bit of frustration and also hope because is a not possible love. Is only the first part of the story and leaves in suspense wanting the next book.

Fevered Souls 1

Got this free from Kobo, and it was ok. It was a quick read. It started out ok and I thought it had great potential but wasn't that exciting. I would have liked more plot twists, actually there wasn't really any, only Cara, the main character finding out Dax was a demon. It was kind of boring. I might buy the next book because there is so much potential with all the characters, I kind of want to find out what happens but hoping it's more exciting, more action packed and more twists and turns.
