A number of the recorded incidents proved Darwin's theory. Had expected the book to be more story-like. Instead it was short clips, reminiscent of the newspaper articles that would have served as sources.

Death By Misadventure: 210 Dumb Ways

Do not spend your hard earned money in this book. Its 153 pages worth of sheer boredom. Through out this book I maybe came across 5 instances where I could truly call them misadventures. The rest are all everyday type of accidents like drunks falling off balconies. Yawn!

This book is fun to read about how some people died by doing stupid stunts or not thinking of the consequences before doing something.

An interesting collection of tales about people varying from the unlucky and over-confident to the simply stupid (some are born that way while others drink to achieve that state!). There are lessons in this book about what not to do to stay alive and also lessons about how not to use punctuation

Good reading if you have a bit of a macabre sense of him our. I liked the fact that all the stories are referenced giving them a sense of authenticity rather than ™urban myths™. Enjoyable if you can laugh at man's own stupidity.
