All the creatures of the night gather in "the Hollows" of Cincinnati, to hide, to prowl, to party . . . and to feed.

Vampires rule the darkness in a predator-eat-predator world rife with dangers beyond imagining—and it's Rachel Morgan's job to keep that world civilized.

A bounty hunter and witch with serious sex appeal and an attitude, she'll bring 'em back alive, dead . . . or undead.

A journey worth taking.
March 11th, 2016
Just finished reading the series and I believe the hours spent reading all 13 books were well worth it. I will admit that I normally shy away from getting into lengthy series, they tend not to hold my interest because the story lines start to wear out long before the last book goes to print. The fact I bought the bundled versions of the series after the reading this book is testament to how much this first book drew me in and how the rest of the books held my interest. Ms. Harrison's ability to weave so much around a rather small number of core characters allows the reader to almost live the stories vicariously through the eyes of the principal character of Rachel Morgan.
