My absolute favourite story so far!

Of all the Fate Harbor stories to date, this is my favourite! Kara Johansen has resigned herself to finding a nice man to settle down with. She’s not looking for hearts and flowers, or a love that steals your breath away; she’s been there, done that, and now she will be happy just to find a man who wants to be with her. But all the best-laid plans are doomed to failure. And when her loving, but overbearing, interfering brothers decide they know what Kara needs more than she does, all hell is set to break loose. The Shotbrook brothers had their chance more than once to have Kara and her undying devotion, but chose to put their sense of duty and honour before her love. So who could blame Kara for her lack of faith that these brothers are now ready to commit to her and a future together, where she doesn’t come second to every twist of fate and family drama that crosses their path. This story shows beyond a doubt, that a lack of trust and communication can be just as fatal as a physical blow. I loved all the characters, the setting and the family bonds that ran so deep. And even though Kara’s need for self-preservation was totally understandable, her love for these men never wavered; even when they didn’t deserve it.
