Synopsis

Humans aren’t as alone as they choose to believe. Every human possesses a trait of supernatural that lays dormant within their genetic make-up. Centuries of diluting and breeding have allowed humans to think they are alone and untouched by magic. But what happens when something changes?

Amara Young has always been on the outside looking in. She’s the one lightning-struck woman out of her group who has never felt as if she’s belonged. She lost a year of her life caring for her dying friend, but now it’s her turn to find out who she is. Only when the time comes, two men stand in her way—two men who claim her as theirs.

Tristan Archer, fae royalty and Conclave member, has waited over nine hundred years for his fate. And now he has two chances. While one knows his path, the other seems blind to what they could have. It will take more than a simple risk for Tristan to finally have what he desires…that is if Amara and Seth can overcome their own uncertainties.

While the other two in his life are fighting themselves and their futures, Seth Oceanus knows exactly what he wants. The younger brother of a Conclave member and relatively young in his realm, he knows he’ll have to prove himself so others see him for who he truly is.

As the triad succumbs to their cravings, they will have to fight more than their overwhelming feelings in order to survive.

Warning: Contains an innocent merman, a very talented fae, and a human woman who can outpace them both.

    Up all night!

Love this author, and this series! A variety of paranormals meet gutsy women. Expect romance, drama, and always some humor to tie it all together. While this can be read as a stand alone, I feel it reads best in the set. Feel free to start here though if hour not as obsessed with order, as I am. Also be prepared to stay up late to see what happens next! Love it!

    Dante´s Circle #6

This is part of the Dante´s Circle series but could be read as a stand alone. Tristan is a Fae prince, and over nine hundred years old. He is also terrified of talking to one small lightning struck woman. If he doesn´t ask, he can´t be refused. He has felt the pull that says she is one of his mates. Seth who is a merman shifter is the other part of the triad. He also feels the pull, but Amara takes no notice of either of them, if she really is their mate she should feel it to. The nearest Amara has ever had to a family is her friendship with the other lightning struck women. She has some massive changes to deal with. This is a very sexy, magical story. Our heroine has to call on strength she didn't know she had to claim her family. Our heroes are very different types of men but share one important quality. They are both good men with lots of love to give. I love this series and can't wait for the next one.

    Hoped for more ...

“Received this ARC free for an honest review. I really liked this book. It’s reminiscent of its predecessors in this series by way of romance but it seemed a little rushed in storytelling, lacking action and I wish this book catered more to the characters involved (Amara, Tristan and Seth); rather than the characters of the next book. I literally had to go back and review how many pages this book was because it seemed like a novella instead of a novel. The story breaks in between regarding Eliana and Malik, and it did just that. It broke the flow of the current story line. I feel that it didn’t live up to “Dante’s Circle’s” reputation. There were plenty of action in the previous books but this book fell short. I kept waiting to get to the big fight scene, especially with the knowledge of the villain and it wasn’t there. As I mentioned earlier, I really liked this book. Amara had been through so much and to find not one, but two lovers to fight for her well-being was great to see. I’m also glad that she stood up for herself too. The other thing I noticed was that her relationship with the other characters wasn’t forthcoming. It alluded to a falling out of sorts with her feelings of being left out. It just seemed disconnected. Truly this book could have been a standalone and not connected to the series or perhaps a spin-off of the series. Other than the powers, I can’t see it.”

    Loved

This book was such a great read. To see Amara take a chance when you can tell how hard that was for her was so great. Things don't appear to be as they should be, but they stand together and fight for what's theirs. Loved it!

    Good but quick

I completely enjoyed the story, it was well written, the characters were likable and the sex was hot! I mean, while we've had Angels in this story, a Merman, seriously, an honest to goodness Merman, I swooned at Seth, and wanted to snatch him out of the pages and bring him home I don't remember meeting Tristan before, or Seth, and Amara has been away from the action as well. It had been a while since I read the previous books in the series, so it all seemed new to me, and I was a bit confused at times. Because of that, it was just a bit off for me I like that it moved fast, I don't appreciate stories dragging things out, so the quickness wasn't the problem for the story, but I missed a bit of the spark with Tristan with both of his partners. Maybe my joy at Seth made me like him more, and Amara was very likable, so why keep no-talk grumpy pants around? Overall though, the bond between the three was evident and they make a perfect Triad!
