Synopsis

"Reading this book was like being at a really great movie. I was immediately drawn into the life of the hero, a lonely California widower who is confused and worried about his missing daughter. Despite the pain of loss, his life as a script writer hands him some major thrills. He eats, travels, golfs and has relationships with women that leave the reader engrossed in the story. I tried to read the novella on a workday and used every minute of my breaks to find out what would happen next. I also thought about planning my dinners to match the meals that are described!

There is a very clever large plot that leads to a great ending. Colin Juvonen sure knows how to write!" – Linda Hopkins

3 Auditions follows the screen writer Emory Mann, as he travels through a disturbing, near future USA. He has lost the two people most important to him, first his wife to cancer, and then his brilliant daughter turned hacktivist who disappeared as a coup brings about the New Republic of America. His daughter is now on the 10 Most Wanted List, driving Emory to build a financial war chest to support a legal defense, but he becomes entangled in the web of those who control the New Republic and begins a journey of discovery in a radically changed country
