Synopsis

It's finally time! Detective Lindsay Boxer is in labor--while two killers are on the loose.

Lindsay Boxer's beautiful baby is born! But after only a week at home with her new daughter, Lindsay is forced to return to work to face two of the biggest cases of her career.

A rising star football player for the San Francisco 49ers is the prime suspect in a grisly murder. At the same time, Lindsay is confronted with the strangest story she's ever heard: An eccentric English professor has been having vivid nightmares about a violent murder and he's convinced is real. Lindsay doesn't believe him, but then a shooting is called in-and it fits the professor's description to the last detail.

Lindsay doesn't have much time to stop a terrifying future from unfolding. But all the crimes in the world seem like nothing when Lindsay is suddenly faced with the possibility of the most devastating loss of her life.

As with all James Patterson books, I find them hard to put down, and this was certainly one of them! Love following Lindsay's life of solving crime, managing a newborn, and a husband. Her health problem was a scare, but pleased it all turned out well. Very exciting book, as are all of them.

Nice ending to Murder Club series, wish James Patterson would write 13th book. The whole series roped me in whereby I could not wait for the next instalment. Recommended reading to anyone who likes crime books with ongoing events involving the main characters.

I WAS a huge fan of James Patterson, but not a fan of his co-writing exploits. The other writer's style usually comes through very clear and you can see how little James Patterson writes I actually suspect James only writes the hook and the notes rather then the body. However saying that I do prefer Maxine Paetro as his co-writing partner as her style is very similar. Always have been a fan of the woman's murder club series, and this does deliver. Admittedly an enjoyable and entertaining read.

As with all James Patterson books, they never last very long. U think you have a read to last a while and in moments you are at the end. The Womens Murder Club books continue to thrill and never get to that been there done that moment. My only issue is that they are not written fast enough. And there are so many strings to these stories. And a new baby .......

James Patterson's books grip you from the start and this one is no exception - the women's murder club offer the extra element of getting involved with the characters lives and this book has the touching side story involving Lindsay's baby. Patterson never disappoints.
