"All we know comes from the television reports. Regarding a hostage situation. Right here in Ravinton. In our newest mall slash office complex. Highest building in town.
Now why are me and Geoff here? Pardon me, why are Geoff and I here?
Simple. This is our city. They’re fucking with our people. And we’re sick of people getting killed over political ideas, ideologies and most of all, money. Because we’ve seen DIE HARD enough times to know that it’s always about money. Somehow, this too is about money. We don’t know whose money or how much, and frankly, we don’t give a fuck."
VIGILANTE DAY is the short story of two regular guys who are fed up with terrorism, crime and bureaucracy. They're no longer willing to wait on the side lines for someone in their ivory tower to decide how to tackle a hostage situation while innocent people are being terrorized for money, politics or ideologies.
So they take up arms and decide to deal with the problem firsthand. However, they soon find out that things in real life don't quite go as smoothly as in the movies, and perhaps the world isn't as fair as they want it to be.
