An extraordinary woman; an inspiring story

Great story of human courage and dedication recounted in autobiography of a remarkable woman: the magical moment when Miss Keller first recognizes the connection between words and objects, her joy at learning how to speak, friendships with notable figures, her education at Radcliffe and an extraordinary relationship with her inspired teacher, Anne Sullivan.

    And we think our life

I too remember how in awe I was as a young girl when I first saw the movie and heard the story. This book has added more truth and information about Helen and her unbelievable accomplishments throughout her life. I will continue to do more research and hope one day, by grand daughter will do a report on Helens life story in one of her future grades.

Magnificent !!! The awakening of Helen Keller's mind from its long slumber and the unmitigated joy she felt as she actually became herself is a powerful and moving experience brought to the reader by her book. She is to be greatly admired !!

    Let me show you difficult!!,

Maybe there are others like me who feel that they will never work through quadratic equations because they feel that they don't have what it takes. Well, Ms. Keller did them without the benefit of sight or sound! Throw in a half dozen or more languages to her repertoire for good measure!
