Can the dead affect the living? Godwin finds out the answer to that question when he and his friends vandalize the skeletal remains of an unknown man. The unknown man wants his bones back, even the skull.
Godwin seeks popularity and has for that reason attached himself to the wrong crowd. He doesn't know how wrong his move his until they make away with the bones of an unknown man one day, he making away with the skull.
When uncanny accidents starts happening to his friends, with a time spacing of twenty-four hours, all leading to the loss of the bones each one stole, Godwin knows he is done for; he took the skull.
