An impulsive decision to buy a time-traveling clock from a street merchant carries a young girl back to the past where she can spend more hours with her family during happier times, but she has a decision to make which could affect thousands of people infected with 'The Sight' as a result. An angry stranger who somehow knows she's a time-traveler warns her that if she doesn't take back a potentially miscalculated time-request, she'll bring doom upon the heads of the entire populace.
A steampunk tale for young adults
