Jason Bourne is back in the forthcoming major motion picture starring Matt Damon and Alicia Vikander. Go back to where it all began for Bourne in his first adventure - The Bourne Identity

'Watch your back 007 - Bourne is out to get you' - Sunday Times

He was dragged from the sea, his body riddled with bullets. There are a few clues: a frame of microfilm surgically implanted beneath the skin of his hip; evidence that plastic surgery has altered his face; strange things he says in his delirium, which could be code words. And a number on the film negative that leads to a bank account in Zurich, four million dollars and a name for the amnesiac: Jason Bourne.

Now he is running for his life. A man with an unknown past and an uncertain future, the target of assassins and at the heart of a deadly puzzle. He's fighting for survival and no one can help him - except the one woman who once wanted to escape him ...

    Not bad ....but slighty disappointed

The action is really well writen but I felt that bourne only kicked the crap out of someone on instinct alone. Without it he was a bit of a wimp. The similarity between novel and film - none really! The fact that his name is Jason Bourne and that he is found floating in the ocean is only similarity. I gave this novel 3 stars because I actually thought the film adaption was must better and this book was kind of boring at times. But the screwed up love story between Marie and Bourne did have its moments.

    Read again

I read this a second time and enjoyed it even more than the first time. If you read this book, my advice is do not watch the film. The next two books in the series are equally good to read.
