Synopsis

Paranormal Shifter Romance Book

The Immortal Ops Series!

Tiger-shifter Jonathon Reynell has spent a chunk of his immortal life serving his country. As an I-Op, his life revolves around the next mission, the next natural high. A soldier sent into the deadliest of combats, he didn't expect immortality to be an issue, to live on while everyone he knows and loves dies. When the toll begins to show and he finds himself at the bottom of another bottle, he decides to go back to his roots, back to his home to clear his head. Rock bottom is not where he expected to be when he found his mate with a rose in hand and his name on her lush lips. Tori is the very definition of perfection and beauty. She’s also in the crosshairs of the enemy. And if there is one thing this sniper knows, it’s that his sights are the only ones that should be set on her.

If you make it, he will come.

OH HOW I LOVED THIS STORY! Her mind knew better. It was the portal to her heart. It is such an utterly beautiful story that is written with the trademark Mandy magic that we have all come to love! It has shades of dark in it, but that is all part of the magic! I loved both Jon & Tori and how many similarities there are between them! Enough to help them connect, but also enough differences to keep them both hopping! It is such an amazing, touching, humorous and even what you might call bedeviled story. There is also a few twists and turns, even shocking revelations that I did not see coming! I guess if I did see it coming it wouldn’t be full of surprises nor would it be written by Mandy! Of course that is one more reason why I love Mandy’s books so much!! They are NEVER boring, nor repeated and they are ALL unique and the kinds of books that make you feel for the characters right from the start all while sucking you right into the story. Mandy also makes you love ALL of the characters regardless if they are the major characters or the side/minor characters, so much so that you hope that Mandy will give each of the minor characters their own story! I haven’t read any of the other books in this series, but that is going to change and SOON!! I loved how Mandy makes these stories standalones or at least enough that you can read this one before the others. But in true Mandy fashion, there is just enough back story to make you want to read the others asap! Thank you Mandy for showing off those mad author skills of yours and proving that no matter how many books you write – whether it be book 7 in a series or a stand-alone – your extremely talented gift for storytelling, character & world building, and oh so much more, is still as strong and perfect as always! Mandy is also one of those great authors that you can read & re-read her books, enjoy them every time, and even pick up or discover new or different things each time. To me, that is the mark of a truly tremendously fantastic author!

    Separation Zone

Mandy Roth never fails me, I have not read on book of hers that was bad. This is Book 7 , we finally get to hear about Jonathan Reynell story. Jon is devastated over his brother in his unit (they were all brothers , family ). Lance's death he went to go to his deep southern home in a town called Nape Field. Tori Manzo lived in Nape Field also she loved it there , hopefully they won't kick her out. Tori has secrets she doesn't want anyone to know , she see ghosts as in dead people. Her grandmother is a ghost who visits her often. They sit and talk for many years. Grandma says a tiger is coming...Did I tell you Jon's a tiger shifter , yep this is when the adventure begins. This is such a great book it's a must read. I was gifted this book from ARC for a honest and true review.

    Trying to avoid fate

Jon has been put on a mandatory weeks leave. All the other Ops guys have found their mates. He has so much guilt built up in himself that he’s been drowning himself in a bottle every night. And then there’s the ghostly letter from the past. From his friend long gone and he feels it’s his fault. He decides to go against protocol and goes back to his home town for a soldier’s memorial. There’s no one left there’s to know who he is or so he thinks. Then he sees her, and he can't look away. But she’s talking to herself or so he thinks. Is she crazy? This is a wonderful addition to the OPS series. Self-contained story and yet built from previous books and characters. Well written and extremely enjoyable to read.

    Another Winner From Mandy Roth

Jon has been a dedicated soldier for too long. His teammates have found their other halves -- not that he begrudges their happiness. Just makes it harder for him. His job as sniper has never been easy despite his expertise. Attempting to outrun fate, honor his friend and escape his deepening darkness--he finds Tory instead. Oh, man! He needs advice from his team. This can't be what he thinks it is--can it? Fighting it is even harder than doing his job. Talk about revisiting the past--man is he in for more than he ever imagined. This is touching, funny, sexy and another winner. Every book from Ms Roth becomes my new favorite. I love Jon meeting Tory. Now can he protect her? PLEASE don't make us wait so long for the next one! I was provided an ARC for an honest review.

    awesome read

This book was given to me as an Arc in exchange for and honest review. I book 7 of the Immortal Ops series we learn at little more of Tiger-shifter Jonathon Reynell past and how he come to be a part of it all.Jon like so many other fought and served his county proudly with his childhood friend Vinnie.Jon joins the IOPS and now calls those who he fight along aside with his brothers, his family .When a personal leave Jon returns to his home town it's not aloud for the fact he is suppose to be dead to those of his past his life before IOPS . When Jon arrives home to a Memorial Service for the fallen Soldiers of the town were he grew up it is there he meets her,he mate. Vinne had told Jon about the one, his mate even warned of the danger that surrounds her. Tori Manzo meets Jon she knows who he is and what is to her.Jon on the other hand has a hard time with it things don't add up.When it is realized they are in danger they race to safety with a few challenges on the way. I love this story just like the others before it, it's filled with passion and high end action .Well worth the read and for you well worth the buy
