Synopsis

The sciatic nerve is the largest nerve in the body. Sciatica refers to neuralgic pain that radiates from the lumbar area to the buttock and the back of your thigh and calf. The pain is sharp, burning, tingling, excruciating, like a jolt or electric shock. Often there is also a feeling of numbness or muscle weakness in the affected areas. Usually only one leg is affected.

Causes of sciatic nerve pain are prolonged sitting, an acidification of the body, pregnancy, a herniated disc, an irritation or inflammation, weather sensitivity, a tumor, a bone spur on the spine, metabolic diseases such as diabetes and rheumatism, cold and wet, overexertion or chronic constipation.

In this naturopathic adviser, I will give you recommendations how to treat sciatica with the help of Homeopathy, Schuessler salts (also named cell salts, tissue salts, biochemistry) and Acupressure. I will present the most proven homeopathic remedies and Schuessler salts, including the appropriate potency and dosage. Homeopathy works holistically and treats the whole body, spirit and soul.

Acupressure comes from the Far East. During the acupressure treatment special points are pressed, massaged or rapped. As long as the energy is distributed evenly throughout the energy channels (meridians) of the body, the person is healthy. When the energy flow is disrupted, the person is sick. By treating certain points, the energy between the meridians will be balanced and the patient gets enough power to become healthy.

I wish you much success in your treatment, joy of life and especially your health. You will find more information about health in my other ebooks.
