He had everything under control, until she proved him wrong...
Sophia Baneham has lived in the poison of her dead father's shadow for longer than she cares to admit. Now she exists outside of polite society's influence, holding gambling parties for London's most dangerous men. When a man walks into one of her soirees, a compelling mix of charisma and icy control, he offers the lady of sin a wager she can't refuse...
Lord Randolph is a spy in the service of His Majesty, but he's given an oath to protect the daughter of his mentor. Even as his gamble of marriage starts to spiral out of control and his passions ignite, Randolph is determined that he'll handle things his way...
But when danger closes in, Randolph won't just have to protect Sophia from an intended killer. He'll have to protect her from himself...

I fell in love with Lady Scandal, Sophia when I met her in the previous book Lady Vice. I’d eagerly anticipated Sophia’s book, and now I am dying for Thea’s story. The furies, three bold and scandalous women with intriguing background thumbing their noses at society were brilliantly painted. I loved their vulnerability and strength which were explored with equal depth. Now Sophia story did not disappoint. She was a wonderful character. Intelligent, witty, and proud. She made me really enjoy the book, and I actually loved everything about her. Now our Randolph...Christ, I loved him so much—his cunning, his brilliance and his undeniable charm. The chemistry between the two sizzled off the pages, the emotions; the fear and the lust, the hope, the hint of danger and suspense grabbed me and did not let me go until the booked ended. I loved that. There is also a delightful plot, which was compelling but did not take away from our lovers falling into their happy ever after. I enjoyed the book and I recommend.by Bookaddict on August 28, 2015
